The Geberit Mapress 316 Stainless Steel Long Adaptor Female Thread and Plain End is a long adaptor with a plain spigot on one end and an Rp (BSP parallel) female thread on the other for the Mapress Stainless Steel press fit system. We list it in 15mm x 1/2″, 22mm x 1/2″, 22mm x 3/4″ for plumbers, gas engineers and mechanical contractors in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
The plain end goes into the press socket of another fitting, and the long body gives you reach through a wall or panel. Threaded sizes are listed as tube size x thread size. It is made of 316 stainless steel (CrNiMo 1.4401) with a black CIIR sealing ring and a pressing indicator that shows any joint left unpressed. Use it for drinking water (hot and cold), heating water and cooling water.
Mark the insertion depth on the tube before you push it in, so you know it is fully home, then press with Geberit Mapress press jaws of the right size.
