Common Questions
When do I need an extension?
When the thermocouple will not reach the gas valve, for example after an appliance or valve has been moved.
Can I fit a thermocouple myself?
No. In the UK, work on gas appliances has to be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Do you sell to the trade and the public?
Yes. Anyone can buy from the counter or online, but gas work itself must be done by a registered engineer.
