Bottle top automatic air vents in 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch and 15mm.
An automatic air vent lets trapped air out of a heating system on its own, so radiators stay hot all the way up and the pump runs quiet. Fit it at a high point of the pipework, with the cap left loose so air can escape.

Common Questions
Where should an auto air vent go?
At the highest point of the pipework or on top of an air separator, where air collects.
Why is my air vent leaking?
Dirt on the seal. Take it off, clean it or replace it, and fit an isolating valve below so it can be changed without draining down.
Do I still need to bleed radiators?
Now and then, yes. The vent clears air from the pipe it sits on; radiators still trap their own pockets.
