Ceramic Disc Headwork 3/4 Inch Single or Pair

Ceramic disc headwork 3/4 inch swaps out old rubber washer headgear, or a worn ceramic cartridge, in 3/4 inch bath taps and larger sink taps. Buy a single for one side or a pair to do the hot and cold together. Inside, two hard ceramic discs slide over each other, so a quarter turn takes the tap from off to full flow and there is no washer to wear and drip.

Before you buy, check the old headwork has a 3/4 inch thread and look at the spline on the spindle so your tap handle fits back on. Turn the water off, remove the handle and shroud, unscrew the old headwork with a spanner and fit the new one. Bring the old one in and we will match it on the counter.

Common Questions

Will it fit my tap?
It suits most 3/4 inch taps with standard headgear. Bring the old headwork in and we will compare the thread and spline for you.

Single or pair?
If only one side drips a single will do. Many people replace both at once so the hot and cold feel the same.
