EPH A17 1 Zone Timeswitch

The EPH A17 is a wired 1 zone timeswitch for switching a boiler on and off to a set timetable. It is the plain, easy choice for a combi boiler or a heating only system where one clock runs everything. We keep it In Stock at our South Street counter in Glasgow.

It has three ways to set the week: the same times every day (24 hour), weekdays and weekends set apart (5/2 day), or each day set on its own (7 day), with three on and off times a day. The switch is volt free, so it suits both mains and low voltage boiler wiring, and it sits on an industry standard 6 pin back plate, so it often drops straight onto the plate of an old timer.

Check the wiring on the old back plate before you swap it over, and take a photo of it first.

Common Questions

Will the A17 fit my old timer’s back plate? It uses an industry standard 6 pin back plate, so it fits many older timers’ plates. Check the terminal numbers against your old unit first.

Can it control hot water as well? No. The A17 is 1 zone only. For heating and hot water see the EPH A27-HW 2 zone programmer.
