The EPH CP4D is a wireless programmable room thermostat with a turning dial for quick temperature changes, sold with an RF1B receiver for the boiler. It keeps the features of the CP4 and adds the dial many customers find easier than buttons. We keep it In Stock at our South Street counter in Glasgow.
The thermostat runs on two AA batteries and talks to the receiver by radio on 868 MHz, so there is no cable to run. The receiver can switch the boiler on and off, or connect by OpenTherm so the boiler turns its flame up and down to suit the room. It is Boiler Plus compliant.
Fit the thermostat on an inside wall about one and a half metres up, away from radiators, sunlight and draughts.

Common Questions
What is the difference between the CP4D and the CP4 V2? The CP4D has a turning dial to set the temperature. The CP4 V2 uses plus and minus buttons.
Does it need a cable to the thermostat? No. The thermostat is wireless and runs on two AA batteries. Only the receiver is wired at the boiler.
