Geberit Mapress Copper Pipe Bridge 15mm to 22mm

The Geberit Mapress Copper Pipe Bridge lets one copper run pass over another where the two cross, with a press socket at each end. It saves building a crossover out of elbows on manifolds, plant rooms and tight risers. We sell it in 15mm and 22mm, all genuine Geberit stock.

Mapress Copper water fittings come with a black EPDM seal ring already fitted and a white pressing indicator that comes off when the joint is done. They press on to copper tube to EN 1057 with an M contour jaw, with no flame and no hot works permit. Up to 54mm a joint that has not been pressed is made to leak under test, so a missed one shows up before handover.

Can I use it on gas? No, this is the water and heating version. Geberit make a separate Mapress Copper gas range with a yellow seal ring.

What press jaws do I need? Mapress uses an M contour, so you need M jaws in the size of the tube. Check your press tool maker’s list before you start.

What copper tube can I press it onto? Geberit recommend copper tube made to EN 1057, in R220 annealed, R250 half hard or R290 hard. Cut it square, deburr it and mark the insertion depth before you press.

How can I tell if a joint has been pressed? Each Mapress Copper fitting has a white pressing indicator with the size printed on it. It shows which joints still need pressing, and you take it off by hand once the joint is made.
