The Geberit Mapress Female Threaded Branch Copper Tee takes a threaded branch off a copper run, with press sockets on the run and a female (Rp) thread on the branch. Use it to put a drain cock, gauge, sensor or valve straight into a run. We sell it in 15mm x 15mm x 1/2″, 22mm x 22mm x 1/2″, 22mm x 22mm x 3/4″, 28mm x 28mm x 1/2″, 28mm x 28mm x 3/4″, 35mm x 35mm x 1/2″, 42mm x 42mm x 1/2″ and 54mm x 54mm x 1/2″, all genuine Geberit stock.

Mapress Copper water fittings come with a black EPDM seal ring already fitted and a white pressing indicator that comes off when the joint is done. They press on to copper tube to EN 1057 with an M contour jaw, with no flame and no hot works permit. Up to 54mm a joint that has not been pressed is made to leak under test, so a missed one shows up before handover.

Can I use it on gas? No, this is the water and heating version. Geberit make a separate Mapress Copper gas range with a yellow seal ring.

What press jaws do I need? Mapress uses an M contour, so you need M jaws in the size of the tube. Check your press tool maker’s list before you start.
