Common Questions
What size McAlpine trap inlet washer do I need? Match it to the trap: RW1 is 1 1/4 inch for basin traps, RW2 is 1 1/2 inch for sink, bath and shower traps, and RW3 is 2 inch.
Why is my trap leaking at the top nut? A flattened or split inlet washer is a common cause of a leak where the trap meets the waste. Replacing the washer is a cheap fix before changing the whole trap.
