Plastic Coated 11″ x 9″ Circular Flue Terminal Guard

The Plastic Coated 11″ x 9″ Circular Flue Terminal Guard is a round wire cage that screws to the wall over a boiler flue terminal. It stops people touching a hot terminal, and it protects the terminal from knocks, footballs and anything else that might hit it.

When you need a circular flue terminal guard

A guard is normally needed where the flue terminal is less than 2m above ground level, or above a balcony or flat roof that people can walk on. You see a lot of them on the back walls of houses beside paths and on the low-level flues of ground floor flats. The plastic (polyethylene) coating resists the wet weather and the acidic plume from a condensing boiler.
