Common Questions
Why use a self-closing waste valve instead of a trap? It has no water seal, so it cannot dry out through evaporation or lack of use, as the membrane stays sealed.
Can the MACVALVE be fitted vertically? Yes, it can go in either horizontally or vertically.
How much is postage on the McAlpine MACVALVE? Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on orders over £250, and £12 + VAT below that. You can also collect free from our Glasgow trade counter at 555 South Street.
