Yellow Plastic Coated Copper Coil Pipe 15mm x 25m

Our 15mm Yellow Plastic Coated Copper Coil Pipe is a 25m coil of soft copper to BS EN 1057 with a yellow plastic sleeve. The yellow coating marks the line as gas at a glance and keeps the copper away from cement, plaster and damp, so it suits runs through walls and under floor screed. At 15mm it is the size for cooker drops, gas fire tails and short branches off a 22mm run.

Because it comes as a coil you can run long lengths with fewer joints. Strip back only as much sleeve as each fitting needs and bend steadily so the plastic does not bunch. All gas work must be done and tested by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Common Questions

Can I use standard 15mm fittings? Yes, the copper inside is 15mm outside diameter, so 15mm compression, solder or press fittings approved for gas will fit.

Why is the pipe yellow? Yellow identifies gas pipework and the coating protects the copper where it is buried or passes through walls.
