The Geberit Mapress Copper Gas Stop End closes off the end of a copper tube with a single press socket. Use it to blank off a spur for later, cap a cut-back pipe or end a run. We sell it in 15mm, 22mm, 28mm and 54mm, all genuine Geberit stock.
Mapress Copper gas fittings have a yellow HNBR seal ring and yellow marking, so they are easy to tell from the water range on site. They are made for natural gas and LPG on copper tube to EN 1057. Like the water range, a joint that has not been pressed leaks under test, so a missed one shows up before the supply is turned on. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Can I use Mapress water fittings on gas? No. Only the gas range with the yellow seal and marking is made for gas. Water fittings have a black seal and are not approved for gas.
