The Geberit Mapress 316 Stainless Steel Adaptor with Stainless Steel Union Nut is an adaptor with a press socket on one end and a loose stainless steel union nut (G thread) on the other for the Mapress Stainless Steel press fit system. We list it in 15mm x 3/4″, 22mm x 1″, 28mm x 1 1/2″ for plumbers, gas engineers and mechanical contractors in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
The nut goes on to a male threaded tail, pump or meter and seals on a flat washer. Threaded sizes are listed as tube size x thread size. It is made of 316 stainless steel (CrNiMo 1.4401) with a black CIIR sealing ring and a pressing indicator that shows any joint left unpressed. Use it for drinking water (hot and cold), heating water and cooling water.
Mark the insertion depth on the tube before you push it in, so you know it is fully home, then press with Geberit Mapress press jaws of the right size.
