Brass Linear Manifolds 10mm to 15mm

Brass Linear Manifolds are straight brass bars with a 3/4″ connection and a row of smaller outlets along their length. They take one supply and spread it to several pipes, which keeps branches tidy and puts them all in one place.

Where linear brass manifolds help

Plumbers use them where one supply has to feed several outlets, for example radiator runs on small-bore heating or separate feeds to taps and appliances. A manifold avoids a string of tees under the floor, and every branch is easy to find later. The 10mm outlet versions suit microbore pipe. The 15mm versions suit standard domestic pipe.

Can a linear manifold be used for a water supply?

How do I blank an unused manifold port?

Fit a stop end or blank cap that matches the outlet. Do it before filling the system.

Seal the 3/4″ thread with PTFE tape or jointing compound, wound or brushed the right way. Fit any end cap or blank on unused ports before filling. Mount the manifold on a board or with brackets, so the pipe weight does not hang off the joints. Label each outlet as you go, because it saves a lot of guessing years later. Test everything under pressure before the floor goes back.
