Common Questions

How are reducing tee sizes read?

End, end, then branch. A 28mm x 28mm x 15mm keeps 28mm through the run and drops to 15mm on the branch, while 15mm x 15mm x 22mm works the other way round.

Why pick chrome over a brass tee?

For looks. On pipework that stays on view, a chrome tee matches chrome pipe and taps, while a brass one stands out.

Can I use a reducing set in an equal tee instead?

You can, but a proper reducing tee has fewer parts and looks tidier on show, which is the reason for buying chrome in the first place.
