Double Hinged Pipe Clip 15mm to 22mm

Two pipes running together are easier to fix with a double hinged pipe clip, which grips both in one plastic body. Each pipe sits in its own cradle and a hinged lid clips over the top.

Where a double hinged pipe clip helps

Radiator flow and return pipes, hot and cold feeds to a basin, or a pair of pipes up to a boiler all travel side by side. One clip holds both at a set spacing, so the run looks even and you drill half the holes. The hinged cover also lets you lay the pipes in first and close them up after, which is handy when you are working alone.

• Sizes: 15mm and 22mm
• Holds two pipes of the same size
• Hinged lid that clips closed
• Single screw fixing

The 15mm clip covers most radiator tails and tap feeds. The 22mm one suits heating mains and the pipes between a boiler and cylinder. Screw the base down, push the pipes into the cradles and press the lid until it clicks. If you have to open it again, ease the catch with a flat screwdriver rather than forcing it. Keep clips evenly spaced so long runs do not dip between them. Singles, nail ons and open clips are in our plastic clips category.

Common Questions

Does a double clip hold two different sizes?

No, both cradles are the same size. Use the 15mm clip for two 15mm pipes and the 22mm clip for two 22mm pipes.

How far apart should pipe clips go?

Plastic pipe needs clips much closer than copper. Follow the pipe maker’s spacing table and add a clip either side of bends.

How do I open a closed hinged lid?

Ease the catch with a flat screwdriver rather than pulling, so the hinge does not snap.
