Running a sink waste into a drain pipe, the FloPlast Universal Waste Adaptor D95 lets you bring a 32mm, 40mm or 50mm waste pipe into a 110mm pipe or socket using one Push-Fit rubber fitting.
How the FloPlast Universal Waste Adaptor D95 works
The adaptor pushes into the 110mm pipe, and its centre is marked so you can cut it out to suit the waste you are bringing in. The waste pipe then pushes through and the rubber grips it. A common use is running a sink or washing machine waste into a 110mm drain connection.
Only cut to the ring you need, because you cannot go back to a smaller size once it is trimmed. A sharp knife gives a clean edge that seals properly.
Push the waste pipe in fully, then pull it back slightly to check it grips. Any waste discharging into a drain like this still needs a trap on the appliance to keep smells out of the house.
Clip the waste so it is not hanging off the adaptor.

It takes 32mm, 40mm or 50mm waste. You trim the centre to the ring that matches your pipe, so only cut as far as you need.
Is the D95 the same as a boss adaptor?
No. A boss adaptor fits into a boss on the stack, while the D95 goes into the 110mm pipe or socket itself and takes the waste pipe through its middle.
Does a waste into the D95 still need a trap?
Yes. The adaptor only makes the joint, so the sink, basin or appliance must still have its own trap to stop drain smells coming back.
