The Full Bore Isolating Valve Compression x Compression is a small inline valve with compression ends and a quarter turn ball. We stock it in 15mm and 22mm. A 15mm isolating valve lets you shut off a single tap, shower, cistern or appliance without turning off the whole house, and the full bore type is the one to choose where flow matters.
The hole through the ball is the same size as the pipe, so the valve does not choke the flow when open. That makes it a good fit on showers, combi feeds and baths. Each end takes a nut and olive, so it goes in with two spanners and no heat. Turn the screwdriver slot in line with the pipe for open and across the pipe for closed. Fit it where the slot can be reached later.
Both sizes are on the shelf in our Glasgow shop. Collect today or order online.

Common Questions
What is a full bore isolating valve?
It is an isolating valve where the hole through the ball matches the pipe. Flow is not reduced when it is open, which helps on showers and high flow outlets.
How do you install a 15mm isolating valve?
Turn off and drain the pipe, then cut it square. Put a nut and olive on each end, fit the valve and tighten while holding the body with a second spanner.
How do you replace a 15mm isolating valve?
Turn off the supply and drain the pipe. Undo the nuts, cut off old olives if they are stuck, fit new olives and tighten the new valve in place.
