JG Speedfit Hub User Licence

Buying a JG Speedfit Hub User Licence expands the number of thermostats a JG Aura hub can control. Out of the box, the hub handles up to 10 internet-enabled thermostats. Each licence adds control of 10 more, up to a maximum of 30.

Who needs it

Most houses never get near 10 zones, so a standard hub is enough. The licence is for bigger jobs: large houses with lots of underfloor zones, small blocks, offices, or any project where the client wants every zone on the app. Rather than fitting a second hub, you add capacity to the one you’ve got.

The hub is the internet link for the Aura system. It’s what lets the client control their heating from a phone, tablet or computer.

Before you buy

• Count the thermostats you need on the app, not just the zones on the wiring centre.
• Check which hub is on the job. The licence is an add-on for the JG Aura hub, not a hub in itself.
• Get the hub set up and working before adding the licence.

If you’re unsure whether a project needs one, bring in the zone layout and we’ll talk it through.

Hubs, thermostats and wiring centres are in our underfloor heating range.

Common Questions

Without a licence, what will an Aura hub run?

Up to 10 internet-enabled thermostats. Each licence lifts that by another 10, to a ceiling of 30.

Is the licence a second hub?

No, it is an add-on for the hub already on the job. You still need the JG Aura hub itself, set up and online, before the licence is any use.

Would a big house need more than one licence?

Only if more than 20 thermostats have to be on the app. Count the stats you want controlled from a phone, then add a licence for each extra 10.
