This JG Speedfit wireless thermostat runs on batteries, so it can go on any wall without a cable. It is part of the JG Aura wireless underfloor heating controls and comes in white or black.
Battery or mains wireless thermostat?
Battery stats give you the most freedom on a wire-free install, because nothing has to be chased into the wall. Mains powered wireless stats do away with battery changes and can help strengthen the wireless signal around the house. You can mix both types on the same network, so the choice can be made room by room.
- Battery powered wireless room thermostat
- For JG Aura wireless systems
- Can be mixed with mains powered stats
- Colours: white or black
Fitting tips
Mount it on an inside wall, away from direct sun, radiators and draughts. Pair it with the system before fixing it, and check the signal from its final position. Change the batteries before they run flat, so the zone does not drop out. Our JG Speedfit underfloor heating range lists the other wireless controls.

Common Questions
Battery or mains wireless thermostat?
Battery stats can go anywhere on a wall with no cable. Mains powered ones never need new batteries and help pass on the wireless signal.
Can I mix battery and mains thermostats?
Yes, JG let you mix battery wireless stats with mains powered ones in the same system. That gives freedom to put each stat where it suits the room.
Where should a room thermostat go?
On an inside wall, about head height, away from sunlight, radiators and draughts. A stat in a cold or hot spot gives the wrong reading.
