PolyPlumb Straight Coupler 10mm to 28mm

The Polyplumb Straight Coupler is the simplest fitting in the range: two Push Fit sockets of the same size back to back. Push a pipe into each end and they are joined.

Uses for a Polyplumb Straight Coupler

You will use couplers to extend a run beyond one length of pipe, to join plastic to copper, or to repair a damaged section. On a repair, cut out the bad bit, then bridge the gap with fresh pipe and a coupler on both ends. The 10mm size suits microbore heating, and 15mm to 28mm cover water and heating mains.

Mark both pipes with the insertion depth, so you can see each one is fully in. Fit stiffeners in plastic pipe, and take the burr off copper. Leave a little room for expansion on long plastic runs, and clip either side of the coupler. If you need to reduce size, use a reducing coupler from our Polyplumb Fittings.
