The Polyplumb Hand Tighten Tap Connector links Push Fit pipe to a tap using a hand turned nut. It is made for spots where a spanner cannot reach, which is often the case behind a bath panel or deep under a basin.
Fitting a Polyplumb Hand Tighten Tap Connector
Push the pipe into the socket end first, with a stiffener in plastic pipe. Then offer the nut up to the tap tail and spin it on until it is firm. The nut has a large grip so your fingers can get enough purchase. Check the washer is sitting flat before tightening, because a crooked washer is the usual cause of a drip.

Usually the washer is not seated flat. Undo it, reseat the washer and tighten again.
