Our Silicone Sealant White 310ml is a standard cartridge of white silicone for sealing white baths, basins, shower trays and sinks. Fits a skeleton gun. Collect it from our Glasgow shop at 555 South Street G14 0QX.
Our Silicone Sealant White 310ml is a standard cartridge of white silicone for sealing round white baths, basins, shower trays and sinks, for plumbers, tilers and householders finishing off a bathroom or kitchen.
White silicone matches white sanitaryware and most grout, so the joint between the bath and wall looks tidy and clean. It stays flexible once cured, so it copes with the bath or tray flexing under weight. The 310ml cartridge fits a standard skeleton gun.
Strip out all the old sealant first, clean the surfaces and let them dry. Fill the bath or stand in the tray before sealing so it’s at its loaded position. Tape both sides for a straight line, then smooth the bead and pull the tape before the silicone skins. Our listing doesn’t say if it has a mould inhibitor, so check the cartridge for wet areas.
On coloured tiles or glass, clear is better than silicone sealant white 310ml. Other sealants are in our silicone and sealants section.

Common Questions
Why has my white silicone gone black? Usually it’s mould growing on or under the sealant in a damp room. Remove the old silicone, clean with a mould remover, let it dry and reseal.
How do I get a neat silicone line? Tape both sides of the joint, apply a steady bead, smooth it with a tool or wet finger, and peel the tape before it skins.
Can I paint over silicone? Paint won’t stick to silicone. Choose white or clear to suit the job instead.
