The Mapress Stainless Gas Flange PN10/16 is a Geberit 316 stainless steel press flange for gas, sold in 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm, 54mm, 76.1mm, 88.9mm and 108mm, for gas engineers connecting stainless pipe to flanged meters, valves, filters and boosters. One end is a press socket and the other a PN 10/16 flange.
The socket carries a yellow HNBR seal, the fitting is marked yellow and comes with a yellow plug. It is silicone-free. Sizes up to 76.1mm are 4-hole and the 88.9mm and 108mm are 8-hole.
Geberit supply a CrNi steel bolt set and a fibre composite gasket as separate accessories. Line the holes up before pressing, then pull the bolts up evenly. Never swap in a black-seal water flange on a gas line. The water and carbon steel versions are in our Mapress flanges section.

Common Questions
Is the Mapress Stainless Gas Flange PN10/16 approved for LPG? Yes, Geberit list it for natural gas and liquefied gases at up to 5 bar MOP. Installation and testing must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
How many bolt holes does it have? The 22mm to 76.1mm flanges have 4 holes and the 88.9mm and 108mm have 8. Check the mating flange on the meter or valve before you order.
Which press tool and jaws do I need? Use Geberit Mapress jaws in the matching size on a press tool Geberit list as compatible. The smaller sizes up to 35mm are normally done with jaws and the big bores with collars, so check your kit covers the size before you start.
What gasket should I use? A gasket rated for gas. Geberit offer a fibre composite PN 10/16 flange gasket and a CrNi steel bolt set to go with it.
