The EPH CP4 V2 is the latest version of the CP4 wireless programmable room thermostat. It comes with an RF1B receiver that fits an industry standard 6 pin back plate, so it can go straight onto the plate of many old timers at the boiler. We keep it In Stock at our South Street counter in Glasgow.
The thermostat runs on two AA batteries and talks to the receiver by radio on 868 MHz. The receiver can switch the boiler on and off, or connect by OpenTherm so the boiler turns its flame up and down to suit the room. It has a 30 minute boost button and is Boiler Plus compliant.
Fit the thermostat on an inside wall about one and a half metres up, away from radiators, sunlight and draughts.
