The Geberit Mapress 316 Stainless Steel 30 Degree Street Elbow is a 30 degree street elbow with a press socket on one end and a plain spigot on the other for the Mapress Stainless Steel press fit system. We list it in 15mm, 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm, 54mm for plumbers, gas engineers and mechanical contractors in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
The spigot end goes straight into another fitting, so you get a tight turn without a short length of tube. It is made of 316 stainless steel (CrNiMo 1.4401) with a black CIIR sealing ring and a pressing indicator that shows any joint left unpressed. Use it for drinking water (hot and cold), heating water and cooling water.
Mark the insertion depth on the tube before you push it in, so you know it is fully home, then press with Geberit Mapress press jaws of the right size.
