Brass Spring Check Valve 15mm to 28mm

Brass spring check valves with compression ends in 15mm, 22mm and 28mm, plus a 22mm full flow version. The spring snaps the valve shut the moment flow stops.

A check valve lets water go one way only. Fit it with the arrow on the body pointing the way the water flows, and leave it where it can be got at for checking.

Common Questions

Which way round does a check valve go?
The arrow cast on the body points the direction of flow. Fitted backwards, it will stop the water altogether.

Single or double check valve?
A double check valve has two non return valves in one body and is the usual fit on outside taps, hose points and other higher risk supplies under the water regulations. A single check valve is for lower risk points. Ask at the counter if you are not sure which you need.

What does DZR mean?
DZR is dezincification resistant brass. It stands up to aggressive water that can eat ordinary brass, so it is the safer pick for buried or hidden pipework and hard to reach spots.
