Common Questions
How far apart should pipe clips be?
As a guide, about every 1.2m on level runs of 15mm copper and every 1.8m on upright runs, with a clip close to each bend and fitting. Bigger pipe can go further apart.
What is a munsen ring?
A pipe ring with an M10 threaded boss, so it screws onto threaded rod or a back plate to hang pipe from ceilings or hold it off a wall.
Brass or chrome?
Brass for plant rooms and hidden runs, chrome where the pipe is on show.
