Common Questions
How much PTFE tape goes on the thread?
Enough to fill the thread without bunching, wound the same way the coupler screws in. Bigger threads need a few more turns than small ones.
What is the 15mm x 3/8″ size used for?
Smaller female ports, such as some valves, filters and controls, where a 3/8″ thread is fitted but the pipe is 15mm.
Where do I put the spanner?
On the hexagon of the body when you screw the thread in, not on the Compression nut. Then hold the body steady while you tighten the nut onto the pipe.
