For an exposed basin waste that should look smart, the FloPlast universal Compression chrome style 90 deg bend turns a 32mm pipe through a right angle with a chrome-look finish. It uses Compression joints, so no solvent is needed.
About the FloPlast universal Compression chrome style 90 deg bend
Under a wall-hung or pedestal basin, the waste is often on show. A white bend looks out of place next to a chrome trap. This chrome style bend keeps the whole run matching, and the Compression joints mean it can come apart later if the basin is changed.
Cut the pipe square and smooth off any burrs, then slide on the nut and seal. Push the pipe fully into the bend and tighten the nut by hand, with a little extra using a soft-jawed wrench. Grips will mark the chrome.
Clip the pipe near the bend so it stays straight and level.

Common Questions
Is the CW10 real chrome?
It is a chrome style finish on polypropylene, made to sit next to a chrome trap. It will not tarnish the way plated metal can.
What tool should I tighten it with?
Hand tight first, then a small turn with a soft-jawed wrench. Ordinary grips will scratch the finish.
Can it be joined to white pipe?
It takes standard 32mm waste pipe, so it will work. The run looks best, though, with matching chrome style pipe and clips.
