Compression Straight Coupler 8mm to 54mm

The Compression Straight Coupler joins two pipes of the same size end to end. We stock it in 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm and 54mm. Most people come in for a 15mm compression coupling to repair a split pipe or extend a run to a tap or radiator. The small sizes suit microbore heating and the big ones suit mains and plant room work.

Each end has a nut and an olive, so the joint is made with two spanners and no heat. Cut the pipe square, clean off the burr, slide the nut and olive on, push the pipe into the body until it stops and tighten. It works on copper pipe, and on plastic pipe of the same size as long as you fit a pipe insert first so the pipe does not crush under the olive. A compression joint can be undone later if the job changes.
