With the Eden TRV set 15mm angled you get a thermostatic valve and lockshield for a radiator fed from the floor, so both ends of the rad match. Ask for it at Plumb Parts in Glasgow.
The Eden TRV set 15mm angled pattern has a thermostatic valve for the flow end of a radiator and a lockshield for the return end. The angled bodies suit 15mm pipes coming up out of the floor.
What you get with the Eden TRV set 15mm
With both valves in one set, the two ends of the radiator look the same. The thermostatic valve controls the room temperature, while the lockshield sets how much flow the radiator gets compared with the others.
Drain down or freeze the pipes before swapping old valves. Fit the TRV on the flow and the lockshield on the return. Use new olives, and seal the tails into the radiator with PTFE.
When the system is back up, bleed the rad and set the lockshield during balancing. Leave the head on a middle setting and adjust over the next few days.
Single Eden valves and other radiator parts are in our Flexible range.

Common Questions
What does a TRV do? A thermostatic radiator valve senses the temperature in the room and cuts back the hot water going into the radiator as the room warms up. It lets you run each room at its own level.
Should a TRV be fitted on the flow or the return? Normally on the flow, which is the pipe bringing hot water into the radiator, unless the valve is marked as working both ways. Check for an arrow on the body.
Do I need a TRV on every radiator? Not quite. The room with the main wall thermostat is usually left without one, so the thermostat can do its job properly.
Can I fit thermostatic radiator valves myself? Plenty of competent DIYers do, but you will need to isolate or drain the heating, then refill and bleed it afterwards. If you are not confident, a heating engineer will do it quickly.
Are TRV heads interchangeable between makes? Not usually, as the fittings differ from maker to maker. Replace a head with one made for the same valve body.
Is the Eden TRV set angled or straight? This is the angled version, for pipes that come up through the floor. Where the pipes come out of the wall, a straight valve may suit better.
What pipe size does it fit? It is for 15mm pipe. It is worth checking the tapping on your radiator before you order.
