The EPH Motorised Valve switches heating and hot water on a domestic system when the programmer or thermostat calls for it. We sell it as 2 Port x 22mm, 2 Port x 28mm, 2 Port x 1 1/4 Inch BSP Female, 3 Port x 22mm and 3 Port x 28mm, the high flow B322MID mid position and B328DIV diverter, and EPH replacement heads that fit Drayton and Honeywell 2 port bodies.
The 2 port valves open on power and spring back shut when it goes off, with a manual lever for filling and draining. The 3 port valves work as mid position or diverter depending on how they are wired. EPH fit a detach button on the head and a detachable 1.2m cable, so changing a head or a lead is a quick job, and a light shows when the valve has power. The 1 1/4 inch valve has female BSP threads rather than compression ends.
The valve runs on mains voltage and needs an earth. Isolate the supply and wire it to the system diagram, or have a competent heating engineer do it.

Common Questions
Do I need a 2 port or a 3 port valve?
Go by the system you have. Separate valves on the heating and hot water legs is an S plan, so 2 port. One valve where the flow splits is a Y plan, so 3 port mid position.
Can the EPH 3 port valve be used as a diverter?
Yes. EPH say the B322PF and B328PF work as a mid position valve or a diverter, depending on how they are wired.
