Fernco EPDM Plumbing Couplings join two waste or soil pipes of near enough the same outside diameter with a flexible rubber sleeve and stainless steel bands. Fernco, formerly Flexseal, size them by the outside diameter of the pipe, so one coupling covers a range.
They suit low pressure and non pressure plumbing: joining plastic waste to old copper, iron or plastic of a similar size, repairing a cracked section, or connecting pipes that will not solvent weld. Fernco list typical uses such as 32mm and 40mm polypropylene, 54mm and 76mm copper, 75mm PVCu and 75mm cast iron. Measure the outside of both pipes and pick the range that takes them. More flexible couplings, caps and adaptors are in our flexible rubber connectors range.
