FloPlast MDPE Pipe Coupler 20mm to 32mm

A FloPlast MDPE pipe coupler is a straight joiner for MDPE pipe, with both ends the same size. It is the fitting you reach for when a digger or a fence post has gone through the supply.

Using a FloPlast MDPE pipe coupler

On a burst, uncover enough of the pipe, remove the split part and fit a short new piece, using one coupler at each end. It also works for extending a run, or for joining two coils on a long supply to an outbuilding. Use it on cold water only.

Measure the outside of the pipe before buying, because older alkathene and imperial pipe are different sizes and need a converter. Cut the pipe square and clean off any mud. Fit a liner in each pipe end, slacken the nuts and push both pipes fully in. Then tighten the nuts by hand. Put the water back on and watch the joint before backfilling.
