FloPlast Overflow Pipe Clip – OS16 21.5mm

Thin pipe needs plenty of support, and the FloPlast Overflow Pipe Clip OS16 holds 21.5mm overflow pipe tight to a wall, soffit or joist. It is the clip made for FloPlast’s overflow pipe and comes in the same white or black as the pipe.

Why use the FloPlast Overflow Pipe Clip OS16

Any run of overflow or condensate pipe needs clipping so it does not sag, rattle or get pulled off its fittings. Small bore pipe bends easily between fixings, so a sagging run soon develops dips where water sits.

Put a clip close to each change of direction and near any tank connector, so the fitting is not carrying the pipe. Space the rest evenly and close together, because this pipe is thin.

Pick the colour to match the pipe. White on render and black on dark brick both look tidier than a mix. On an outside condensate run, keep the pipe tight to the wall so wind cannot shake it loose.

What spacing does FloPlast give for overflow clips?

No more than half a metre apart, on vertical and horizontal runs alike, according to their tech sheet. Thin pipe dips between fixings if the clips are too far apart.

Do the OS16 clips come in colours?

FloPlast make the overflow clip in white and black to match the pipe. Choosing the matching colour keeps an outside run looking tidy.

Will the pipe slide in the clip as it warms up?

FloPlast’s overflow system needs no expansion gap, so the clips simply hold the pipe in line. Fix them firmly into sound brick or timber.
