FloPlast Seal Ring Extract Cowl – SP310 110mm

Exposed vents benefit from the FloPlast Seal Ring Extract Cowl SP310, a hooded cap for the top of a 110mm soil vent pipe. Air still moves in and out of the stack, but the hood keeps rain out as well as birds and debris.

Why choose the FloPlast Seal Ring Extract Cowl SP310

A plain vent terminal keeps wildlife out but lets rain fall straight down the stack. On exposed sites, or where you would rather the vent stayed dry, the cowl is the better choice. It pushes onto the pipe with a Ring Seal, so no solvent is needed.

Square off the top of the vent and bevel the edge, so the seal is not shoved aside. A wipe of silicone lubricant helps it go on.

Where the pipe passes through a pitched roof, fit a weathering slate and collar before the cowl.

Check the finished height above the roof and its distance from windows, since the building regulations set rules for soil vents.
