Geberit Mapress Copper Adaptor with Male Thread and Plain End 15mm to 22mm

The Geberit Mapress Copper Adaptor with Male Thread and Plain End goes from a male (R) taper thread to a plain spigot that pushes into a press fitting. It lets you come off a threaded part straight into a tee or elbow without a short length of tube. We sell it in 15mm x 1/2″, 22mm x 1/2″ and 22mm x 3/4″, all genuine Geberit stock.

Mapress Copper water fittings come with a black EPDM seal ring already fitted and a white pressing indicator that comes off when the joint is done. They press on to copper tube to EN 1057 with an M contour jaw, with no flame and no hot works permit. Up to 54mm a joint that has not been pressed is made to leak under test, so a missed one shows up before handover.

Can I use it on gas? No, this is the water and heating version. Geberit make a separate Mapress Copper gas range with a yellow seal ring.

What press jaws do I need? Mapress uses an M contour, so you need M jaws in the size of the tube. Check your press tool maker’s list before you start.
