Where the Geberit Mapress 316 Stainless Steel Elbow Adaptor 90 Deg Female Thread works
It suits connections to valves, gauges, vents and appliance tails that sit at right angles to the pipe. Using one fitting rather than an elbow plus a threaded adaptor saves a joint and some length. That helps in cupboards, ducts and plant rooms where clearances are tight.

Can it take a 3/8″ valve on 15mm pipe?
Yes, the 15mm x 3/8″ size is for small male threaded valves and gauges. The 15mm x 1/2″ is the one for standard tap and valve tails.
Can the outlet be turned after pressing?
No. Set the outlet direction, make the threaded joint and only then press, because turning a pressed elbow damages the seal.
Is a male thread version made?
