The Mapress Stainless Gas 90 Degree Elbow is the standard right-angle bend for stainless press fit gas pipework, with a press socket on each end, in sizes from 15mm to 108mm, for Gas Safe registered engineers. It is the fitting you use most on a commercial kitchen supply or a plant room gas header.
The body is CrNiMo 316 stainless steel 1.4401 (EN 10088). Each socket carries a yellow HNBR seal ring and the fitting is marked yellow. Geberit list the gas range for natural gas, liquefied gas and biogas. It has a pressing indicator and is made to leak if a joint is left unpressed.
Cut the pipe square and deburr it, as a burr can roll the seal. Mark the insertion depth so you can check the pipe has not backed out while you get the tool on, then press with the jaw for that size and remove the indicator. We carry 15mm, 22mm, 28mm, 35mm, 42mm, 54mm, 76.1mm, 88.9mm and 108mm.
