The Geberit Mapress 316 Stainless Steel Gas Adaptor Male Thread is a straight adaptor with a press socket on one end and an R taper male thread on the other for the Mapress Stainless Steel press fit system. We list it in 15mm x 1/2″, 15mm x 3/4″, 22mm x 1/2″, 22mm x 3/4″, 22mm x 1″, 28mm x 3/4″, 28mm x 1″, 35mm x 1″, 35mm x 1 1/4″, 35mm x 1 1/2″, 42mm x 1 1/2″, 54mm x 2″ for plumbers, gas engineers and mechanical contractors in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
Use it to go from stainless tube into a female threaded gas valve or fitting. Threaded sizes are listed as tube size x thread size. It is made of 316 stainless steel (CrNiMo 1.4401) and is yellow marked, with a yellow HNBR sealing ring and a pressing indicator that shows any joint left unpressed. Use it for natural gas, LPG and biogas.
Mark the insertion depth on the tube before you push it in, so you know it is fully home, then press with Geberit Mapress press jaws of the right size.
