The Geberit Mapress Copper Reducer steps a copper run down a size, with a plain spigot on the large end that goes into a fitting and a press socket on the small end for the tube. Mapress Copper water fittings come with a black EPDM seal ring already fitted and a white pressing indicator that comes off when the joint is done. They press on to copper tube to EN 1057 with an M contour jaw, with no flame and no hot works permit. Up to 54mm a joint that has not been pressed is made to leak under test, so a missed one shows up before handover.
