Common Questions

What do collet locking clips do?

They sit behind the collet so it cannot be pushed in by accident and release the pipe.

Are coloured clips the same?

Red or blue clips on Twist and Lock fittings are for colour coding only. White or grey ones are the locking type.

When should I fit them?

Anywhere the fitting could be knocked, such as behind dry lining or near rigid surfaces.
