Plastic Push-Fit fitting to connect pipe. The uniquely designed fitting incorporates stainless teeth to provide a tight and secure grip on the pipe. The connection is demountable if required, ensuring the system is easy to work when in the ground and needing to maintain and alter existing set-up. Installation time is greatly reduced when compared against traditional fixing methods.

Common Questions

Can you use Speedfit fittings on copper pipe? Yes, Speedfit push-fit fittings take copper as well as plastic pipe, and copper does not need an insert. Make sure the copper end is cut square and free of burrs.

Can you use Speedfit on central heating? Yes, this reducing coupler suits vented and sealed central heating as long as temperatures and pressures stay within BS 7291 Class S. It is rated to 3 bar at 82°C, and it is not for gas.

Can you reuse Speedfit fittings? The joint can be undone if you need to alter or maintain the run. Check the fitting and pipe end are clean and undamaged before you put it back together.

Can you use Speedfit fittings on Hep2O pipe? We’d pair Speedfit fittings with JG Speedfit pipe. The 50 year guarantee applies when they are used with JG Speedfit barrier pipe, so mixing brands is best avoided.

Does Speedfit pipe need inserts? Yes, plastic pipe going into a Speedfit fitting should have an insert in the end to keep it round. Copper pipe does not need one.

Can I use a Speedfit reducing coupler to go down to microbore? Yes, the 15mm x 10mm version takes you from standard 15mm pipe down to 10mm microbore.
