Fit a pipe insert (liner) into the end before you push it into a Compression fitting, because it supports the pipe wall so the joint stays tight. Cut square with plastic pipe cutters. In the trench, lay the pipe on a bed of sand or fine fill with no stones and snake it slightly to allow for ground movement. Where it comes up into the building, duct it and insulate the section above ground. Blue MDPE should stay buried, so don’t leave it exposed outside.

No, the 25mm is the outside diameter. The bore is smaller because of the wall thickness, so do not size it like copper’s inside.
