When you need a JG Speedfit MDPE imperial to metric converter

Imperial pipe is a slightly different outside size from metric MDPE, so a standard coupler will not seal properly. The converter is made for the gap. A common job is replacing a leaking section near the house, where the old 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch pipe carries on under the garden.

Measure the old pipe before you buy, because worn or odd pipe can be hard to identify by eye. Clean the old pipe end well and cut back to sound pipe.
