MT Draw Off Cock Type A Capillary 15mm

Soldered straight onto the pipe, the MT Draw Off Cock Type A Capillary gives a neat drain point on 15mm copper. It has a capillary end that takes the pipe like an End Feed fitting, and a hose outlet with a spindle to open and close it.

There are three choices. The standard 15mm is the everyday version. The 15mm DZR version is made from dezincification resistant brass, which matters in areas where water attacks ordinary brass. The 15mm long tail has a longer pipe end, handy when you need more reach to clear insulation or a wall.

Fit it at the lowest point of the circuit, so the system can empty fully. Clean and flux the pipe, solder the joint, and keep the flame off the valve body as much as you can. Open the spindle slightly while you heat, so no seal is cooked.
