MT Draw Off Cock Type C 15mm

A drain point at the bottom of a circuit saves a lot of mess, and the MT Draw Off Cock Type C provides one on 15mm pipe. It has a hose outlet and a spindle that you open with a drain cock key or spanner, so the system can be emptied into a hose rather than a bucket.

Using the MT Draw Off Cock Type C

Fit it at the lowest point of the heating or water circuit, for example under a radiator drop or at the foot of a pipe run. Once it is in, attach a hose to the outlet, run the hose to a drain and open the spindle a turn or two. Open a bleed point higher up so air can get in and the water flows freely.

When the job is finished, close the spindle snugly but do not force it. Take the hose off and check the outlet stays dry before you refill.
