Description

The Rothenberger No 35 Tube Cutter cuts copper tube from 6mm up to 35mm. It uses a telescopic action to open and close round the pipe, so one tool covers everything from microbore to 35mm.

Where the Rothenberger No 35 tube cutter fits in

Its 6mm – 35mm range takes in microbore, the everyday domestic sizes and the larger pipe found on mains and bigger systems. It gives a neat square cut with no filings inside the pipe, so it is a good all-round cutter to keep in the van.

  • Brand: Rothenberger
  • Cuts copper tube from 6mm to 35mm
  • Telescopic action
  • For precision tube cutting on site

Set the wheel on the cut mark and close it up until it bites. Turn it round the tube, tightening gradually. Pressing too hard at the start can flatten soft copper or leave a ridge. Once through, clean the inside edge with a deburrer. Wipe the wheel and rollers now and then to keep them turning freely. The pipe slice range has more options.

Common Questions

Is the Rothenberger No 35 good for microbore?

Yes, its telescopic action closes down onto small tube as well as opening for the larger sizes. Take extra care with pressure on soft microbore.

How do I keep a No 35 cutter cutting cleanly?

Wipe the wheel and rollers after use and keep grit off them. When cuts start to drag or wander, fit a new wheel.

Do I need to deburr after the No 35?

Yes, a wheel cutter turns a small lip into the bore. Take it off with a deburrer before making the joint.
